New Approaches to Waste Management Summary explanation of how IRM works, the components and processes to operate and evaluate.  A high level document, it nevertheless provide a reasonable understanding of the importance of an integrated business case and rigorous evaluation process to optimise IRM.
Colwood IRM Study

Fidelis Resource Group assessed how the City of Colwood might improve the City's overall sustainability by minimising waste, maximising recovered resources, generating energy and minimising the cost to the taxpayer.  The Colwood IRM Report was issued in October 2008.  In addition, a public brainstorming session was held.

IRM rating system On 20th October 2009 at the Gaining Ground : Resilient Cities conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, Fidelis and Canada Green Building Council were pleased to jointly announce an agreement for Fidelis to contribute the work it had undertaken for the province of British Columbia towards the creation of a new rating system, to be implemented by Canada Green Building Council.

CaGBC President Thomas Mueller made the announcement jointly with Fidelis' Jon O'Riordan, following which a panel session included a presentation on the rating system by CaGBC Past President and Board Director Alex Zimmerman, which outlined the basics of the proposed rating system.  For more information please contact Chris Corps.
